Kölner KGGG System component 2A Fond is a water-based burnishable gesso primer for gold, silver and base metal leaf. It combines the properties of gesso and bole in one pre-mixed, brushable solution; available in several traditional bole colours.
The system consists of three components: Impregnation agent, burnishing clay and adhesive. All components are water-soluble.

Available colours: red, red dark, ochre, yellow, blue, black, white

Sealer P Impregnation agent is a concentrated water based sealer designed to prepare porous surfaces prior to application of Kölner Burnishing Clay.Dilute Sealer P with tap water in a ratio of 1:0.5 – 1:1.5. Colnasol Gel Concentrate is a quickly prepared size / adhesive available in concentrated tablet form. Dissolved in water, the gel tablets make a„gilder´s liquor“ designed for the adhesion of Gold, Silver and Metal leaf to Kölner Fond. Each tablet (10 gram) will make ½ Liter of Colnasol gel Size.

Kölner Reliefkitt

Packaging unit: 150 Gram

Kölner Reliefkitt Powder (when liquid added) becomes a plastic material for preparing carved or moldes objects and for filling cracks.Porous surfaces should be partially sealed. A weak solution of Sealer 123 A is recommended. The optimal ratio to get a plastic consistency is 100 gram powder to 30 gram water. If a longer working time is required use Colnasol Gel Size, prepared with half a tablet to 1 liter of water.Available packaging unit: 150 gram, 400 gram, 750 gram
