  Instacoll is a size for the attainment of high gloss weather-resistant exterior and interior gilding. It is a system consisting of Instacoll Base and Instacoll Activator.Instacoll Base can be applied with a soft brush or spraying machine. After drying (approximate up to 1 hour), the surface is ready to gild for approx. 1 hour. If gilding takes a longer time or gilding can be completed at a future date, the surface respectively applied Base can be simply reactivate with the component Activator. …our best-selling oil-based gilding size for years…The Kölner oil-based size delivers brilliant gilding results.Kölner Classic Ölmixtion is available in three different drying times Drying times: 3h 12h 24h Bonding times/open time: 1h 5h 7hThe times given refer to the respective drying times, but they can only be used as a rough guide; On lacquered surfaces, the best results in gilding are achieved using Oil Size when the substrate has been previously prepared with Kölner Feldmann’s Prep. Thickness of the mixture and changing temperatures can extend or shorten the drying time. The Cologne Classic Oil Mixture can be mixed with each other and therefore the drying time can be adjusted individually. The prerequisite for successful gilding is a non-absorbent substrate and a mixture that is applied as thinly as possible and has dried thoroughly. Use indoors and outdoors in the oil technique. Available containers: 100 ml, 250 ml, 1.000 ml, 5.000 ml Hazardous goods - not available in all countries or only with increased shipping costs.
