Product information "Kölner Miniatum Gel 3D"

Kölner Miniatum Gel is a pasty adhesive for the artistic application of gold leaf and metal leaf on flexible surfaces. It works perfectly on parchment, paper, canvas, plastic and leather.

The result is a 3D gilding where the light is reflected onto the gold leaf from several sides.

It is applied either with a brush (not too soft hair), painter's knife, small spatulas etc. After applying this adhesive, gilding can begin after at least 3 hours, depending on the thickness of the layer. Real gold leaf is best applied within 72 hours. Metal leaf should be applied within 12 hours.

If the Miniatum gel has become too dry and the gold leaf no longer adheres, this can be activated with warm air (e.g. with a hairdryer).
