Gerstendörfer Water Size is a mixture of water and alcohol, which can only used in the water techique. Water size will directly applied prior to placing gold leaf on the bole layer.
The water size has the task, to reactivate the binder in the bole layer and therefore to achieve adhesion for the gold leaf.
