Product information "Mixtion Lefranc - Oil Based Gold Size"

 

Original Mixtion Lefranc - The oily adhesive, named as Mixtion (french for mixture). Useable only in the Oil Gilding Technique. There are two types of Mixtion, the 12 hours and the 3 hours Mixtion. The times refer to the respective drying times, but they can only be considered as approximate guidelines characteristics. Thickness of the mixtion coating and alternating temperatures can shorten or lengthen the drying time.

Prerequisite for a successful gold plating is a non-absorbent surface and thinly applied well dried Mixtion. Useable for the interior and exterior in the oil technique. 

The oil mixture Lefranc had excellent properties in the past (up to the new poison regulation). Today the Kölner Classic oil mixture comes very close to these properties and is therefore the best-selling oil mixture among our customers.

Available drying time: 3 hours, 12 hours 

Available packaging unit: 75 ml, 250 ml, 1.000 ml, 5.000 ml
